Dr. Jarvis' Story

Dr. Ronald Jarvis started Great Northern Dental Care in 2010 after working 13 years as an engineer. He is passionate about centering his dental practice on excellence and leads the industry in the latest technological developments and techniques. His goal is to deliver the highest quality family and cosmetic dental care to his patients.

Dr. Jarvis graduated from Brigham Young University in 1990 with a bachelor of science in engineering. He later enrolled in dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University – the day of his 40th birthday. His background in engineering, eye for photography, and drive to continually learn, translates into excellent dentistry. He takes great pride in providing his patients with the information they need to make decisions about the health of their teeth and the aesthetics of their smiles.

Dr. Jarvis is a tech lover and utilizes the revolutionary CEREC system and 3D imaging. His membership in CEREC Doctors Academy and Spear Education enhances his ability to digitally design custom-guided implants, same-day crowns, digital aesthetic models, and in-house clear aligner orthodontic treatment, giving his patients beautiful smiles.

Community and professional service have always been important to Dr. Jarvis. He is grateful for opportunities to help patients who live with dental pain but are unable to afford care. Serving through organizations such as Mission of Mercy, Shepherd’s Hand, and Donated Dental have been very rewarding to him. 

The Jarvis family loves Montana and enjoy spending time being outdoors with friends and family. Living in the Flathead Valley with access to beautiful water and mountains has been an absolute dream!
